Profesor Beach meets Bankie Banx

It was a blast meeting Bankie Banx at his Famous Dune Preserve in Rendezvous Bay, Anguilla.

Bankie is a well known Real Estate Mogul and Rock Star in Anguilla. Bankie is a Pioneer when it comes to Reggae Music in the Caribbean.

The Dune Preserve is a funky place where you can kick off your shoes and relax. Bankie and the gang will do the rest at the Planet Dune. The Planet Dune Live-music Lounge, is open every night except Monday. On Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights Bankie performs live solo or with his band. They have open mic, special events and DJ music every other night.

Throughout the year, Bankie hosts special guest performances by well known acoustic music artists, including Jimmy Buffett.

Anguilla (pronounced ) is a British overseas territory in the Caribbean, one of the most northerly of the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles. It consists of the main island of Anguilla itself, approximately 26 km (16 miles) long by 5 km (3 miles) wide at its widest point, together with a number of much smaller islands and cays with no permanent population. The island’s capital is The Valley. The total land area of the territory is 102 km² (39.4 square miles), with a population of approximately 13,500 (2006 estimate).
